I was the reporter in the Theresa May event just now (doing it on behalf of all broadcasters - we didn’t get any inside track, was just our turn).

For transparency:

One small private room
Two video cameras
Two stills cameras
One reporter (me) who was allowed one question

I think it’s worth putting this stuff out there so you can all get the full feel of the event. Very different from other campaigning events I’ve been to. Only a few MEPs there and no other supporters.

For those asking what question I asked, it was the standard reporter trick of cramming two into one... “Jeremy Corbyn blames Tory leadership manoeuvring for talks collapsing... is it govt’s fault? Have you damaged the process by saying you’ll go after the next Brexit vote?”
