If you scroll down enough, you see that “Democrats for Trump” only started trending because so many people were posting articles with headlines like “Mnuchin subpoenaed by Democrats for Trump’s tax returns.” It’s only still trending because everyone is asking why it’s trending.
Tending topics doesn’t process punctuation, it’s not surprising that it got clipped at the apostrophe. Seen this before. When someone with an apostrophe in their name is in the news, a clipped version of their name starts trending.
There don’t appear to be any hijinks here, just an ongoing coding failure. Should Twitter remove it from the trending list? Yes, since it displays as something entirely different than what’s actually trending. But then Trump would just complain that he’s being censored.

1) Justin Amash deserves immense credit for doing the right thing on a crucial matter. But he’s not exactly sacrificing himself. This won’t hurt him in his moderate district. Nor would a retaliatory primary challenge from the right. This matters, because it’s a roadmap.
2) Amash is the prototype of a congressional Republican who can safely call for Trump’s Impeachment: moderate constituency, immune to Trump’s retaliation, and this could springboard him to bigger things later. He’s far from the only GOP in Congress who fits this description.
3) Amash is doing the right thing, but he probably benefits from it. Will other House Republicans in situations similar to Amash immediately follow him in calling for impeachment? No, they’ll probably wait for confirmation of how this strategy plays out for him.

Joe Biden, who has a 15-20 point lead in the primary race, is indisputably the current "frontrunner." The media is right to call him that. Funny, though. Hillary had a 15-20 point lead over Bernie for the entire 2016 primary race, and the media never called her the "frontrunner."
The media handed the 2016 election to Trump by spending every day trying to manufacture ratings by lying about Hillary's emails and Hillary's poll numbers. It's over and done. But we MUST watch to see if the media tries to do the same crap to Biden or to any other 2020 candidate.
Biden's biggest vulnerability right now is that his lead is too big. If the media fears the primary race will be uncompetitive, it won't hesitate to kneecap Biden in the hope of shrinking his lead and turning the race into something more competitive and ratings-friendly.

...bg checks are not required in Missouri (where I live) --- or federally because Rs thwarted the Manchin-Toomey bg check bill after Sandy Hook. When they closed the door on us, we took this battle to the states....

Listen up kids. So when #Trump wants to replace #SNAP benefits with a box of prepackaged dry goods, it’s not just about #fruits and #veggies. It’s about power, race, ethnicity, labor, energy, disability, and language as well.
2) What people eat and what people are supposed to eat and what people had access to eat has always been informed by power. In ancient times, it may have been the nobility eating meat and wheat bread while peasants ate potages. Nowadays, it’s what people should not eat.
3) Just because people are poor does not mean that they do not have their own food preferences, ideas about food, or habits around food. Folks who use SNAP/#foodstamps will use their benefits, as they are able, to buy the food they can afford within these frameworks.
