So Nigel Farage is stuck on his campaign bus in Kent surrounded by people holding milkshakes. And Theresa May is hiding in the toilet to avoid her Ministers telling her to resign.

This is NOT how I saw today going.
The bus thing is now being denied BUT OH MY GOD I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S TRUE ANYMORE
Or is it actually true, the Sun is claiming the bus driver as a source but it's the Sun so aaaaaargh

Okay, a quick serous thread on why "you can't laugh at politicians you don't like being milkshaked without being a hypocrite" is utter bollocks.
It is possible to find something both:

1) A sorry reflection on the state of public discourse in Britain
2) Fucking hilarious

This is called nuance. Indeed one might argue that the inability of the extreme right AND left to accept that nuance exists is part of the problem here.
More importantly, the milkshake situation exists PRECISELY BECAUSE the hard right have utterly ABANDONED the norms of political discourse

They have lied, repeatedly, about immigration, Brexit and social welfare, and revelled in the fact that they have faced no consequence for it

If Boris becomes PM I will STILL not write him into the Brexit Tapes, because (from previous experience when he was Mayor) not including him in something is the easiest way to annoy him.

And that, in and of itself, would be funny.
Basically he'll always have just left the room, be about to arrive etc. etc.
Hell, I'd even go as far as to call the first post-Brexit batch the Boris Tapes and then deliberately not include him.
