not much else to be said about the Morgan Stanley / Tesla call (quotes from it in prior tweets), but a few Elmer Terminal (likely misinformed) musings:

1. main was that some bear fuel. literally not a good word to be said about Tesla. demand dying, capital structure broken, no clear path forward, etc. pretty much "this goose is cooked unless a miracle happens"

2. I'm no capital markets or security law expert, but i don't know how there won't be some fallout related to the banks doing Tesla's capital raise and then turning around 2 weeks later and saying "actually the business is dying"

2.5. Part of that blame/responsibility, inshallah, will be placed squarely onto the god-king @elonmusk. he went into the raise affirming guidance (90k Q2/360k 2019), saying co doesnt need money, etc. Clearly, all lies.

2.75. To what extent banks are expected to DD that and attempt to ascertain more honest answers out of Elon or provide their own thoughts, i do not know.

but if the raise on 2018 production guidance is sus enough to get sued over, lawyers have to be getting excited now.

3. Seems like there's likely no path forward to an additional raise absent some yuge change in the business (actually meeting guidance, actually doing the FSD taxis, etc.). Banks look like fools now, are shiddin on Elon in return, and i doubt they'd help again.

4. as others smarter/more experienced than me, it's a) amazing this call happened and b) amazing it leaked so soon. @elonmusk is going to go apoplectic when he listens to this.

5 & fin. it aint over til the fat lady sings but it seems like she's at least reviewing her set list and warming up behind the scenes.
