The chances of anyone leaving Europe with "no deal" are about zero.
It's not going to happen. You can say that shit, but you can't dance to it.

A fairly small pocket of MPs want that, or think they do. But the vast majority, no.
Parliament has already proved willing to legislate to prevent it.

The new Tory leader comes in with no majority, and no mandate. Parliament owes them nothing. They will have been elected only by Tory members, not by the country.

They will not be able to command obedience, especially for a policy of that magnitude.
I think people just enjoy the hysteria sometimes. It's not going to happen.

It's not about personalities, it's about the constraints of reality.
Do you know why Theresa May resigned today? She resigned because she refused to disregard the referendum result.

The next Tory leader is going to resign as well. And the next and the next and the next.
The Tories can go through as many leaders as they like. Eventually they're going to abandon Brexit.

Theresa May would still be in the job right now if she had abandoned Brexit. But she wouldn't, and that's why she's gone.

The policy the Tories need is to abandon Brexit. And they're not going to get anywhere with any other policy than that. And they will go through prime ministers until they figure it out.

The Tories could even lose this next prime minister within a few weeks, and if they show the same maniacal stubbornness, they will.

They are never going to get anywhere with this policy.

If anyone wants to be Prime Minister for the long term, then they have to confront the country with the fact that Brexit cannot be done.
And that is the price of holding that office.
