been thinking about youtube and how much i hate most of it and how unnecessary almost all of the commentary on it is and maybe you shouldn't make anything unless you think it's gonna make someone more satisfied
the only types of creative outlet i desire are things that i'm pretty sure will improve someone's life or things that have basically no value at all, like my posts
mind you i also didn't give up on traditional employment entirely and decide to become Showbiz hopping on the gravy train that has never delivered more than a trickle of beef drippings and made it my 24/7 occupation that takes more effort and delivers less rewards than 7/11
this isn't a criticism of freelancers but people jumping on the influencer bubble are not living good lives and i think genuinely would mostly be better off, happier people if they were doing the normal, shitty capitalism grind
like 97% of the instagram self made brands in three years will either be back with their parents if they were wealthy or sobbing in gutters if they were just faking it
