Robert Mueller will make his first public statement today at the Justice Department at 11 a.m.
The press release says Mueller will not take any questions from reporters, and the statement will be streamed live here: links.govdelivery.com/track?type=cli…
You can also probably turn on any TV channel. I’m pretty sure everyone from CNN to Fox News to the Cartoon Network will be carrying this live.
Remember, Mueller has only said one thing publicly since becoming special counsel — a single written sentence accepting the job.

Nadler said Justice Department rules against indicting a sitting president prevented the special counsel "from pursuing justice to the fullest extent possible."
Will the House Judiciary Committee subpoena Mueller?

"Mr. Mueller told us a lot of what we need to hear today," Nadler says.

That doesn't sound like he's gearing up to drag him to Capitol Hill.

Robert Mueller is talking. "I have not spoken publicly. . . I am speaking out today because our investigation is complete. . . We are formally closing the special counsel's office."

Mueller announces his resignation.
Mueller wants his office's "written work to speak for itself." He's recapping what his investigation found about Russian interference with email hacking and misinformation.
"We also investigated efforts to obstruct the investigation," Mueller says.

"When a subject of an investigation obstructs that investigation or lies to investigators, it strikes at the core of the government's effort to strike at the truth and hold wrong doers accountable."

Once again Trumpians were left holding the bag and having to do a clean-up in aisle 5.
2. The GOP yet again over promised and under delivered. Frustratingly this was not for a lack of information or Democratic malfeasance but from the complete mismanagement by the GOP.
3. The GOP lacks strategic courage to do what needs to be done. The GOP twists itself to accommodate & appease the DNC. The Senate Intelligence Committee took the political scandal of the century and distilled it down into a weak & mealy-mouthed critique of the FBI FISA process.
