We really, really, really need to pause and realize Robert Mueller came out today, reiterated his report, and it was a massive paradigm shift because the president and his sycophantic Attorney-General carried out a coordinated public cover-up.
That’s terrifying on so many levels. That Trump and Barr could so blatantly attempt to obstruct justice on a massive scale, but also that our media unwittingly helped them do it to such a degree that Mueller just restating his findings would lead to this.
We have a lot of issues. My god. There are so many cracks in this system and we have to fix every one of them. This moment, this case with Mueller, is a canary in the coal mine and we need to take notice.

Evangelicals supporting Trump isn't a phenomenon. It's a result of sections of American Christianity being radicalized into white identity groups that have been told for decades they're living in the End Times by leaders and politicians who want to mobilize their support.
Many of these people have been taught to believe liberals represent Satan, it was a consistent rumor that Obama was the Antichrist. This doesn’t get talked about because many find it ludicrous, but, listen, it’s part of this mess.
If you want to understand this, look at the demographics, what’s happening in rural America, church attendance, the Satanic Panic, televangelism, End Times mania in the 1980’s, and Reagan. It’s a simple, simple puzzle that any ex-evangelical knows pretty well.

Sometimes I get really caught up in wondering whether all the humor originating from Trump's mistakes and ridiculousness actually keeps us from grasping how truly terrifying our current situation is. 1/
The revolutionary war airports line was so absurd, and delivered so comically, but, I mean, that guy is in charge of the nuclear stockpile. He's obviously unwell. Meme it up all you want, but humor is about defusing tension. And that's what we're doing. 2/
I noticed this early on in the 2016 Campaign. People were doing impressions of him everywhere as his linguistic patterns started defining terms and conversations. He became a clown. A clown can be disturbing, but the artifice of the clown character blunts the terror. 3/

Maybe, today, on a holiday where the president is spending millions to clothe himself in meaningless militarism, would be a good day to imagine what the world would be like if we hadn't spent all our money on endless weapons and directed our brightest minds on destruction.
But don't take my word on it, here's Republican war hero president Dwight Eisenhower: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies...a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed."
Also, Eisenhower said the theft of militarism included "the sweat of...laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hope of its children."

Imagine what scientific advancements we could have had. What kind of humane economy we could have had. What diseases we could've cured.

...Arvinder Zambi is allegedly the handler for George Papadopoulos which is the counterintelligence investigation bad evidence. And on top of supposedly also being Mueller's handler since 9-11, she is attached to the Queen and the privy counsel. That leads straight to British....

#FDR promoted the idea that the people of the world, in all nations, shared entitlement to four freedoms: that of the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom of worship, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear.
#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.

1. As I think most persons paying attention now realize, the investigation into foreign interference with the 2016 election was created as a cover for domestic interference with the 2016 election.
2. It was run at the highest (or deepest) Deep State levels by the likes of James Clapper and John Brennan, whose frantic and hysterical Tweets are like no utterances of any CIA director in history.
3. That also explains one of the puzzling aspects of the last year that I've occasionally mentioned here:
