Most headlines re-reporting WaPo's Pfizer story are badly stretching. An apparent correlation in claims data is not close to conclusive. Also, inflammation re: Alzheimer’s would be moot if Enbrel doesn’t reach brain tissue. That should've been WaPo's focus. Not agenda quotes.
I'm no apologist for drug companies, but it's a big stretch to claim Pfizer "buried findings" that Enbrel prevented Alzheimer’s, let alone that they did so for their bottom line. American Academy of Neurology's study in May 2015 was inconclusive. Issue is reaching brain tissue.
On whether Enbrel does, “While there were some interesting trends that favored [Enbrel], the American Academy of Neurology found "there were no statistically significant changes in cognition, behavior, or global function."

That backs Pfizer's rationale and explanation.

Joe Biden is the biggest to Donald Trump, on paper. But I remember Hillary Clinton was the biggest threat, on paper.

She also had working class appeal, and union "member" appeal. She was also DEEPLY connected to urban black voters who were DEFINITELY going to come out for her.
Are urban black voters really going to come out for an old white guy who has a history of supporting soft segregation? I am skeptical to say the least. Also, Donald Trump knows Joe Biden's trade record is the same as Hillary Clinton, one of expediency and anti-surplus.
I'm saying what I've always said.

Incumbent presidents are incredibly difficult to defeat. Trump's approval/favorability does not indicate his share of the vote. And candidates for POTUS absolutely need a justification.

What's Joe Biden's justification? Someone, please share.

The public polling industry will never win back the public trust if outlets just smear others in order to cover for their own shortcomings.

People aren't stupid. They just see it as a narrative battle, and use polls to affirm what they want to believe. That's not their purpose.
This thread is long overdue. I was holding off on it until I convinced others, but that's just not happening. So, here it goes...

Like anything else, the best way for media pollsters to combat distrust is sunlight, meaning a new level of transparency.

For instance...
AAPOR's Transparency Initiative was a great place to start.

But...

Wouldn't people be more inclined to trust that a media poll was done honestly, even if it turns out not to be completely accurate, if providers were given, modeling was much more transparent? Not minimal 411.

After NYSC, I was at home doing nothing for close to two years. I remember that Friday evening that I got an SMS telling me I have gotten a job which interview I'd gone for about 3 months earlier.

I screamed for joy. I was excited.
It was a call centre job. Great! I wasn't keen on how much it paid. Anything was fine by me. The SMS said to confirm availability for training which would start in three days' time. There was a number attached. I called it and confirmed my availability.

longing touches, burning gazes, whispered words in each other's ears that often leave themselves hanging. the way seulgi's eyes look at joohyun with so much love back then was an enough seal as a proclamation of her love, smitten.
when the night is quiet, and seoul's noise had died down, joohyun would climb onto seulgi's bunk, bringing stories with her lips as they kiss.

it doesn't matter if it's dark, or when they are both tired and exhausted from practice, a kiss is a must, like a petition, almost.

2. Turns out he was right, courtrooms can MOST CERTAINLY be closed for a freaking arraignment hearing. And that's exactly what happened here.
