Voicemail from John Dowd to @GenFlynn’s Counsel

LEFT: Mueller report

RIGHT: Full transcript released today per court order

Mueller’s hacks removed that Dowd wanted a heads up “not only for the president, but for the country” and wasn’t asking for “any confidential information”
Also clear it’s a lawyer to lawyer voicemail and Dowd clearly didn’t know for sure Flynn had decided to co-operate with the government

Luckily we can still ask Mueller why he decided to cut out just these exculpatory words to save all of *two lines* in a ~450 page report, right?

Article I - "Obstruction"

1. "Attempting" to fire Mueller isn't obstruction. He was a subordinate executive branch officer with serious potential conflicts of interest, not least of which is his longstanding friendship with Comey, a crucial fact witness. And he didn't fire him!
2. Trump's "efforts" to get a message to Sessions to unrecuse and then limit the investigation (while ill-advised) thru Lewandowski went nowhere. Trump could have ordered Sessions to un-recuse. He did not. He could have ordered Rosenstein to limit the investigation. He did not.

Per court order, the govt has filed a transcript of a voicemail that Michael Flynn's lawyer got from one of Trump's lawyers after Flynn withdrew from the joint defense agreement. Much of this was excerpted in Vol. II of Mueller's report
The judge had ordered the govt to file this transcript because in their sentencing memo they'd referenced the fact that Flynn contributed to the obstruction investigation by turning over a "voicemail recording"
The judge also ordered the govt to produce "any other audio recordings of Mr. Flynn, including, but not limited to, audio recordings of Mr. Flynn's conversations with Russian officials." Govt said today it isn't relying on any other recordings, nor are any part of the record
