When you're writing an advertising and creating marketing pieces, what you're doing and should focus on is to SUSPEND DISBELIEF long enough for people you're talking to so buy what you're selling.

Since thats the goal, you first have to find out,"Why would they DISBELIEVE me?" Write it ALL down, then come up with appropriate responses to counter those reasons. The stronger their reason,the harder it will be to counter & the stronger and more believable your count should be

Next you then ask, "Why should they believe me?"

Is it your track record? Your team members' experience? Do you have testimonies from people who have bought the product? Does a popular person endorse it? Is it research backed? Do you have a money-back guarantee?

List them all.

Next is your offer.

Your offer is what they are getting in exchange for what you're selling to them.

Your offer is the PRICE + BONUS(ES) + MONEY BACK GUARANTEE + SCARCITY

It has to be BELIEVEABLE also.

Selling wristwatches? How about adding a bracelet as a bonus.

Selling shoes? How about 2 tins of polish (wax and liquid), shoe brushes, maybe a tie too.

Female clothes? How about a pair of zirconia earrings. etc.

You get the idea.

Tell them they can return it if it's bad and get their money back too (depending on product/service type)

Then make getting the bonuses CONDITIONAL upon acting withing a specified period of time, the shorter the better.

NOTE: People will NOT buy unless they think your offer is more valuable than the money that have to out up to get it.

Now writing the advert/marketing piece is a...

...matter of you putting all of the above together.
