Here is the podcast of today’s half hour conversation w/ @GeorgeWill about his new book “The Conservative Sensibility.” townhallreview.com/2019/06/the-co… It’s a wonderful book, an urgent asking of whether Madison’s structure can survive. In some ways similar to @JonahNRO’s latest.
But in “Suicide of the West” there was more optimism than there is in Will’s book. The deficits Will identifies —rapid decline of the family, the destruction of serious learning, the insistence on simple majoritarianism— could all be remedied. But it requires constitutionalism.
Perhaps @IQ2US will bring @GeorgeWill and @JonahNRO to debate @mkhammer and @guypbenson on “Resolved: America’s Next 50 Years Will Be Superior The Previous 50.”

Having defended the SC against conservative critics for two years, I’m profoundly disappointed by the politicization of the report and his press conference. @jmeacham summed up the fumble but this SC investigation will rank as among the worst for lack of clarity, botched result
As I explained on @MeetThePress, this disbelief is not “a White House” or “Bill Barr view,” but the view of scholars like @jacklgoldsmith @JonathanTurley, fmr fed 4th Cir Judge Mike Luttig on the record in the @washingtonpost. P 208 of Part II of report is the key.
It says “We did not reach a conclusion.” That was their job, and in fact they did imply one which #AGBarr made explicit: The is no crime of obstruction of justice. The SC seems disappointed about this. “Melting like paper mache in rain” is how I described it on @MeetThePress.

@DineshDSouza I caught him off guard in the moment, he is neither a Republican or a Democrat, he’s an Independent. But is not really a centrist either, he has both liberal views, and conservative views. Some of which would be considered radical. (2)
@DineshDSouza He asked me why I thought I was a Republican. I said because Abraham Lincoln was a republican. He told me that was a long time ago. I asked him to the Republicans freed the slaves? He said yes. And believe it or not the Democrats owned slaves in the south. (3)

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
