If fertilized eggs are all "precious life", why aren't Republicans legislating IVF the same way they do abortion?

There's no difference between a fertilized egg in a lab & a fertilized egg in a person, yet women who give clinics permission to discard their embryos don't have waiting periods, mandated counseling or carry around stigma about that choice. Maybe this isn't actually about "life"?

It's 7pm and as far as I can tell, the New York Times & the Washington Post *still* haven't reported that the president has been accused of rape.
I am really hoping it's because they're busy reporting it out.
I'm glad. But it's sort of infuriating that another pub has repeated Trump's claim that he never met her without mentioning that there's a picture of them together.

I didn't describe this as a rape because, at least in this piece, Carroll does not. But to be clear - if true, what Trump did to her is legally rape.
So I guess I'm wondering, how many women have to accuse Trump of rape and sexual assault before Republicans give a shit?

This is the same problem with the USPS. What is needed are FORENSIC AUDITS of all government run agencies. Let’s throw the Public School System in there. The VA & others always get the funding they ask for; the questions are in those budgetary line items that go “unspecified.” Or

I think my date thought I was being coy. But, I wasn’t. I was just being honest. A while ago, I decided to deal in reality and not hypotheticals. I have tried and failed to control life. All my effort got me was an anxiety problem and therapy.
