4. A meeting has been held by men of colour in #SouthCardiff this afternoon to discuss what's been happening over the past two days. There are people from many backgrounds: Somalis🇸🇴Egyptians🇪🇬, Yemenis 🇾🇪 and many more places 🌎

"Armed sentry's were posted by men of the West Indian regiment the meeting in Loudon Square there was also an arsenal of fire arms if the lynch mobs come into Maria Angelina Sophia Christina streets all hell..

9. More on the #meeting held in #Butetown, where there are members of the press 📝in attendance. People are saying that they had done nothing to start the disturbances+as British🇬🇧 subjects they are entitled to protection. Here's a photo of a man of colour addressing the crowd

10. A resolution was passed calling upon the #British🇬🇧 Government in #Westminster🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to take measures with this end.

11. 1000-2000 people were present there. Dr. Rufus E. Fennell has helped with the efforts to advertise this event to members of the community in #Cardiff. Here's a photo of him. He's served in the British🇬🇧 military

12. He lives in #Pontypridd, #RhonddaCynonTaf, #Cymru/#Wales. He's travelled from #Pontypridd to #Cardiff when he heard about what was happening. It's about 12 miles.

14. Some men have chosen to leave #Butetown/#TigerBay🐯/#Docks/#Newtown/#CentralCardiff. They're leaving as we speak. Crowds are jeering at them as they leave. They have kitbags on them.

14. Arab boarding masters have urged their members not to carry knives or guns this evening. They responded that they only fired their guns to get the mobs to leave the alone in the first place
