#Pain is a #blessing in disguise!

Just look back at your life. When you were happy about something, did you ever wonder about the meaning of life? Did you look inwards to see who you are, what life is all about? Did you feel the need to deeply know about the ultimate Truth? No!
When things go smoothly you just blindly follow the same routine with barely any awareness or consciousness. There is nothing to jolt you into awareness from your routine so you continue without any awareness. But when #pain happens, it makes you look at life objectively.
It forces you to look deeper into life, to learn why you react the way you react and seek to uncover the real #mystery of life. #Pain is the key that can open the door to the world of #reality; the choice is yours to open the door or not.

Bazan just sort of “preached” an anti-Trump, anti-Pence, anti-toxic masculinity mini “sermon,” and it was great! You couId see a few people in the crowd weren’t thrilled, but at least one person yelled #FuckTrump, and Bazan said “Fuck your boy Pence hard” to massive cheers!

Walking is the absolute best way to learn about the city, people, and more.

If you’re new to a city, just walk anywhere that’s under 30 minutes away by foot.

Even though this is basic AF…

It’s my number one travel tip for a damn good reason.

Along the same lines…

Smile more.

You’re a foreigner in someone else’s country.

Be friendly. Be polite.

And smile - especially when dealing with a language barrier.

Doesn’t mean be a pushover.

We can talk about self-naming being a necessary part of "basic dignity" when "Ms" stops being put after "Mr", "Mrs" & "Miss" on online forms. Then we can have a chat about how I'll never call sadistic murderer Ian Huntley anything other than "sadistic murderer Ian Huntley".
Other examples: airlines & other websites on which it is impossible to choose "Female" & the title "Dr" at the same time. The programming rejects the idea of a female academic (or medic). But "human dignity" for sadistic murderers of little girls, sure, yeah, why not.
I mean those boring cis ladies, they get called only what they want to be called all the time, right? Like "cis", for example. Also, "love". Especially by taxi drivers. Big on the human dignity of lone female travelers stuck in a moving vehicle with them, taxi drivers are.
