Enough with the stupid takes on college. I'm all for responsibility & educating people that college debt is unnecessary.

But universities & Feds shouldn't get away with SCAM that is universal college, pushing it on foolish kids.

If a car dealer sold you a car they knew was salvage or flood & didn't disclose it, and the car was worth only scrap value, would you insist that the scammed buyer needed to pay off that car note the same dealer wrote & profits from?

You haven't internalized that college=scam.

For years, states have been cracking down on for-profit diploma mills. But why give a pass to the rest of the university system that inflates the value of a four-year degree?

College degrees other than credentialed fields(ie law, engineering, medicine, etc.)are mostly worthless.

I obtained a degree with no debt myself. As much as you might think I'd want to stick it to dumb kids who worked less hard than me, there's one problem:

Obamacare eliminated the kinds of work I did to pay for school out of pocket.

Feds gutted entry-level labor; getting worse.

Feds regulate entry level jobs away, funneling you to universities they subsidize and underwrite loans. BTW, one reason many employers want four year degrees? Fed laws prohibit many screening questions during hiring, so degree becomes defacto "weed the riffraff" tool. Neat trick.

So I am for FASTEST route to burning down this corrupt system that would get a private entity a prison sentence.

Asking kids to pay their scammers AIN'T IT.

That doesn't mean I want a taxpayer bailout. Instead:

1. #SeizeTheEndowments
2. Bankruptcy protection for student loans

Burn it down.🔥💥 It's unconscionable and immoral that we are still telling kids to go get themselves degrees that are not a specific, requisite credential of an identified professional field.

They may be silly and ignorant, but guess who withheld better knowledge from them?/END
