There's a misconception going around that Bernie is too leftist to win...lemme debunk that real quick.
GOPers call everything that isn't wildly right winged socialist. You could run a Dem with Ronald Reagan's policy & they'd get called the second coming of Karl Marx...
That said, Americans want certain policies enacted to make their lives easier and more enjoyable. For example, over 70% of Americans support Medicare for all...& over 50% of REPUBLICANS support it.
A "centrist" democrat cannot defeat Trump. This is bc Trump can run to the left of them on key economic issues...(i.e. Trump in 2016 was anti-NAFTA, anti-TPP two trade deals that ravaged the Mid-West)
In addition to those economic policies, if Biden(or even Kamala Harris) is his opponent Trump can run to the left of them on racial equality in the criminal justice system...you read that correctly...here's the proof... 
All of these factors contribute to the reason that Bernie polls so well vs Trump. He gives you the economic AND social support that the Democratic voting base needs.
Democrats need the highest voter turnout possible to have the best chance at winning. Voters dont get excited to go out and vote for someone that proposes 25% of what they need and doesn't address the systemic imbalances in our society/government.
Bernie has outraised the rest of the Democratic field AND the DNC itself. He also has a million VOLUNTEERS. He is the perfect candidate to defeat Trump bc of his exciting policies, name recognition, and vast pool of supporters.
These are all of the reasons that I support him. Don't continue to be misled by the mainstream media (MSM) & believe that a Democratic candidate must be "moderate" or "centrist" to be viable. The opposite is true.
Let's define the term "moderate". Moderate to me means how the majority of the constituency feels. If 70+% of people believe in Bernie's signature policy (#MedicareForAll)...how is that NOT a moderate position?
The establishment punditry and MSM have framed the political spectrum to make it seem as though Bernie is a far left politician. However, based on his polling and how popular his policies are, we can now see that he actually represents the majority of Americans.
Bernie won't defeat Trump IN SPITE of his "far left" policies. He'll defeat Trump BECAUSE of them.
Don't just take my word for it...hear this from @carterforva an actual elected official that has already enacted this strategy and WON.
