Rossolinski-Liebe, p.287: "In December 1944 the Abwehr took Bandera and Stetsko to Cracow, where they helped Abwehrkommando 202 prepare a Ukrainian unit for parachuting into the hilly surroundings of Lviv. The Germans gave the unit a million roubles...to transport to Shukhevych."
The courier Yuri Lopatinsky returned to Germany a year later as the UPA's liaison to Mykola Lebed's Foreign Representation of the Ukrainian Supreme Liberation Council (zpUHVR), and made contact with the Strategic Services Unit (SSU, predecessor of the CIA) on behalf of the OUN-B.
After the CIA tried and failed to utilize the OUN/UHVR/UPA as a stay-behind army, the Prolog Research Corporation was founded in New York City as a CIA/zpUHVR front, which years later employed Mr. Taras Kuzio... CIA didn't sponsor Bandera but left a legacy of whitewashing OUN/UPA
