Sanders is at least misleading when he says that 83% of the benefits of the Trump tax cut go to the top 1%. Tax Policy Center said it was 21% last year. It's only 83% if the individual tax cuts aren't extended to 2027 while the corporate tax cuts remain: cnn.com/politics/live-…
I'd say he'd be right if he specified he was talking about what would be the case in eight years, or "in the long-term" or something. But it's not true right now, and he uses the present tense, so I say misleading. I know there's some subjectivity here.
