I want to make three points relating to Ash Sarkar’s use of the term “whiteness” as a means to attack Jewish campaigner against antisemitism, @TracyAnnO...
Jews, including members of Tracy’s family, were murdered within living memory explicitly because they were NOT regarded as white Europeans. White supremacists still kill Jews because they’re not seen as white. Some privilege.
Most Jews DON’T have white pigment. Jews come in all colours. Whiteness is irrelevant in understanding who the Jews are. Those who attempt to raise our “colour” only ever do so for toxic reasons. Ash feeling entitled to wrongly dictate to Jews their identity? Some privilege
Visualise a black man experiencing racism. Can you imagine Ash’s reaction being to taunt him for benefitting from male privilege? And so Ash with Tracy: it seems designed to diminish & denigrate Jews & the reality of their experiences with AS through misplaced taunts of whiteness
Would a “progressive” accuse Linda Sarsour & Ahed Tamimi of suffering from white privilege?

No. They reserve this exclusively for ”white-passing” Jews. The goal is to exclude Jews from the community of empathy & solidarity, even as white supremacists continue to kill them...
