Has anyone else yet noticed the incongruity between suggesting an emergency budget to deal with no-deal Brexit, which can be amended, and a Parliament opposed to a no-deal Brexit?
I think @xtophercook captured the tory leadership contest well this morning
Superficial. But essentially offering nothing new, in particular to solve the problem of finding a majority in Parliament for something also acceptable to the EU. Which remains the fundamental question neither candidate wants to discuss.
Me, me, me, us, us, us. Oh, and more than a hint of the socialism now sweeping the Conservative Party - we'll put up barriers to trade and subsidise those losing out (unclear if this is WTO legal).
