I think, tomorrow, I'm gonna make a sign that says:

"I'M TRANS AND I SERVED -- TRUMP IS A COWARD AND DID NOT"

...and just walk around the National Mall.

Because this is my home and my country and to me, patriotism means knowing we can do a lot better.

Making a backup sign that says:

"TRANS + PATRIOT + MILITARY VET + NOT AFRAID OF RAIN -- EVERYTHING TRUMP IS NOT"

Admittedly, I am not adept with typeface and design, but I think this’ll do. Front and reverse.

Alright, quick fix. This’ll have to do.

Material used: @Sephora’s “Sephora Loves Texas” red lippy. No joke.

I spent about three hours out here walking around. Many folks thanked me for my service, which is totally unnecessary but quite kind. Yet, many more folks in red hats glared and muttered under their breath.

But they didn’t say anything to me. Because they know I’m right.

Well... except for one person. A stranger recorded that interaction and sent it to me. I may post it when I get home.

Also: thanks so much to the several women who stopped to compliment me on my makeup. Very sweet. ❤️

Also: it is very wet, and most folks looked just shy of miserable.
