Pedestrian omni shambles on Edinburgh’s busiest street. A developer (Fraser Building) has closed s major crossing and section of footway. But it gets worse ... 1/4 @LivingStreetsEd

Most direct route Hope St Lane appropriated by pedestrians because developer route is too long and poorly signed ... but pavements are blocked and route is a rat run 3/4
No evidence that anyone from @Edinburgh_CC has been onsite prior to signing this off to consider how this going to work in one of Edinburgh’s worst accident black spots where people are rushing to buses and trams. Now face long diversions and additional crossings 4/5
