How do you get your prospect to read your ad?
What do you do to stop then from scrolling passed your ad?
Would you make your ad scream "Hey Stop There! I'm an Ad! Read me"
Or would you grab them by the throat until they read it?

The aim of an ad is to sell. And to sell, you don't want your prospects sense you want to 'sell' them.

Let's say you're sitting in front of your house and
you see me coming towards your direction with some packs of air fresheners. Which you might not be needing at the time.
What next comes up
You brain will start creating excuses that you can give in order to send me off.
Why?
Because you already know I'm coming to sell those air fresheners to you
And this is what happens in your prospects mind when they sense you want to sell to them.
So how do I
I'll create a headline that would make you surrender to my sales pitch willingly.
Here's an example:
This NEW air fresheners smells like REAL strawberries, KILLS insects and LASTS for 18months!
You see what I did there...
Mind you, you haven't even know the air freshener yet but with this caption,
You are willing to read about the air freshener. To know what it's about and probably the cost of owning one.
Your headline
If you like write a copy that sounds like the songs in "Sound of music",
if you don't get my attention, you might as well sing that song to yourself alone.
Good headlines determines if your ad will be read or not.
