I started expressing myself on SM because I was sick of the @INCIndia culture of institutionalised corruption, nepotism, minority appeasement and blatant disregard for Hindu concerns. I didn’t aim to be an ‘influencer’ or famous. I wrote what I genuinely felt like.

I supported @narendramodi for the last 7 years, spending my own time and money voluntarily, because he stood for everything that the Congress was not. He is clean, self-made, leads a monastic lifestyle and is Dharmic in his ways.

My support for @BJP4India was because of @narendramodi, and because the party had such a strong cadre based culture where people had to work their way up, rather than get a position based on the last name.

I have paid a heavy price for it. I have been trolled, attacked, abused, mocked threatened, even my children were not spared. But I still did what I did because I believed in it. Maybe I was naive and trusting. Have been called ‘a paid troll’ about a zillion times now.

All of the abuse didn’t matter, because in my mind, I was sure I was fighting for the right side. Today, I am not sure anymore, with the @BJP4India’s decision to induct all the human turds from the @INCIndia into the party including alleged rapists of minors out on bail.

I know the @BJP4India doesn’t owe me a thing. They didn’t ask me to stand up for them. I did it on my own. So there is no reason why they should value my opinion. But for all it’s worth, I am deeply disappointed with the BJP’s decision to include scum like Monserrat.

All I can say is that, the loss of faith hurts. I would never have been disheartened by defeat, but it is the success of the party that has disillusioned me. The splinter group of Congress MLAs from Goa that joined the @BJP4India today, welcomed by party prez @JPNadda are sickos

And someday, the @BJP4India will pay the price for including them. I know that. Indian electorate threw the @INCIndia out because they were too arrogant, the people of GOA will do the same thing to the @BJP4India, if not now then in the future.

I wish at least some people from @BJP4India had a backbone, the loyal Karyakartas who toiled for years to make the @BJP4India what it is in GOA today, I wish they had spoken up agajnst this travesty. But apparently, no one has the cojones.

I do not understand politics. I only understand the voice of my conscience. My father dedicated a full decade of his life to the Goan freedom struggle, risking his life on more than one occasion. I cannot let him down.

I need to speak up so I can look myself in the eye. I never had any political ambitions, nor did I crave for fame’. Things happened. And tomorrow if I lose all of the following, it doesn’t matter, as long as I can tell my father, ‘I stayed true to your Sanskars’.
