Among the commitments Pete Buttigieg makes in the criminal justice section of his plan are cutting the prison population in half, ending federal drug possession prison sentences, reforming federal clemency, and supporting an end to the death penalty.
This is true. The plan even highlights that he has kept this position in the heading of the section.
