There's a whole lot going on is this story

While the mission to raise $5K remains the primary initiative, @JenLongdon is also hoping to bring awareness to other issues such as teacher salaries & the quality of drinking water in Phx public schools

Let's start with salaries

The same Arizona public school teachers who receive salaries far below the national average are also having to purchase supplies

They do this to help their students who would otherwise go without, and for the most part these kind acts go unnoticed

So that's why @JenLongdon is raising the $5K

But while she has your attention, she'd also like to discuss an important issue that's getting very little attention

This is unfortunately a problem that will only become more dangerous as long as it remains ignored

Simply put, lead in drinking water is very harmful, especially for kids, @JenLongdon feels very strongly about this

Back to the mission at hand

Goal is $5K and @JenLongdon will shave her head

The constituents of #LD24 have set a counter goal to raise the $5K and SAVE @JenLondon's hair😄
