I always knew "Believe women" would die a swift death after it ensnared a Democrat. I didn't think Jane Mayer would be the one to take the kill shot.
Part of me hopes Mayer is just doing oppo for some Democratic rival of Gillibrand's than believe she's this much of a hack.
And it's equally perplexing that they'd surrender this card over someone with no political future like Franken. History suggests at this point they'd be unified in their condemnation now that he's useless.

It sounds crazy now, but so did the wedding cake controversy 10 years ago. During a time when the argument for gay marriage was that these things wouldn't happen.
This case will probably go away now that Yaniv's turned out to be a nut. In a way conservatives have been helped by the absurdity of the people bringing these cases to court (requesting a satanic dildo cake).
