Britain’s new Prime Minister Boris Johnson has vowed Britain will leave the EU on Oct. 31 — “no ifs, ands or buts.”

In his first speech as leader outside 10 Downing Street, Johnson says he will get “a new deal, a better deal” from the EU on Brexit. latimes.com/world-nation/s…
He derided “the doubters, the doomsters, the gloomsters” who believe he can't succeed in breaking the Brexit impasse that defeated his predecessor, Theresa May.
