It's funny. The whole 'do not waste this time' thing. If you're thinking about perceived party interest, rather than national interest, the Tories haven't. They saw the Euro election results, got scared and came up with a proposition: no-deal fetishisation.
It's irresponsible and deranged, but from yesterday onward, you'll know what a vote for the Tory party means on the Brexit issue. It's clear-cut.
What the fuck has Labour done.
Got nervous. Corbyn talks to unions. Campaign groups put pressure. After weeks, a two-scenario plan comes out. Then mystery spokesman X insists it doesn't mean what they say it means. Then McDonnell muddies the waters further.
And right now, no-one could possibly tell you what a vote for Labour means on the Brexit issue. That's the difference.
There are a million moving parts in the great wheel of horror that is our national crisis. But the most important cog is Corbyn's continued presence as leader of the opposition.
