I'm getting emails from people who think my ECO21 course is for $50 per lecture, when it's $50 total, for 10 lectures. I'm sorry your university made you think education has to be a scam, but your uni's Executive Vice President for Student Engagement needs his summer villa.
These jobs actually exist and they pay more than the professor you will never get to talk to because he's too busy publishing garbage nobody reads to secure grants for the uni's bureaucratic parasites

Universities are becoming more expensive to pay for non-educational jobs for an ever-growing caste of administrators who do 10% of a professor's work & have better job security & higher pay 
And that new assistant's entire career will consist of harassing professors to get them to work on completely inconsequential bullshit reports nobody will ever read.
They can't justify taking most the uni's budget without taking up professor time to keep up the pretense of work
