1/ I am daring all these Trump cultists who swear they have all these "black friends" as proof they aren't racist to name those friends...first and last names please. And show me their entries on your phone contacts. Because you'd have that with real friends. Liars. All of them.
2/ and the following are not real friends: the black lady at CVS who you tell to 'have a nice day' after leaving w/your COPD meds; nor the black guy u once tipped for tap dancing on the street in New Orleans to entertain you...nor anyone the names of whose kids you don't know...
3/ Oh, and subscribing to some Diamond and Silk shit also doesn't mean you have black friends...

1/ New report from Heavy.com, if true, indicates the Dayton shooter asshole was a self-proclaimed leftist of an incredibly nihilistic variety. If so, it's just as much an act of terrorism as the El Paso right-winger. Fact remains: white guys, not brown, not Muslim..
2/ And given previous post from a former classmate of his, suggesting lifelong misogyny & fascination w/violence, he just proves men of the left & right can both be immersed in toxic masculine bullshit. Still a guy problem, still a white terrorism problem; still a gun problem...
3/ ...and the difference is, every leftist on the planet will condemn this asshole for the terrorist scum he was, if this report is accurate. We will name it. We will condemn it, and renounce anyone who soft-pedals it. Unlike the right that won't do that for their terrorists...

1/ Funny watching MAGA-cultists falling all over themselves trying to make the Dayton shooter "antifa" because his mom posted literally one anti-Nazi meme immediately after Charlottesville and his sister was a Democrat. Couple things...
2/ a) his sister is now dead and it looks like he killed her; b) 6 of the 9 he killed were black; and c) for all we know, he could have hated his parents and their more liberal politics and killed his sister and committed suicide by cop to hurt them. We just don't know...
3/ What we do know is, he doesn't look like any of the people the MAGA-cultist fear or have been trying to get everyone else to fear...and we also know they won't be calling for profiling or asking other white people to condemn them to show we aren't all terrorists...

1/ Been listening to an excellent podcast, White Lies, about the 1965 killing of James Reeb in Selma by white racist terrorists. The most disturbing thing--and we see it still today--was how unwilling white Selma residents were to acknowledge one of theirs did it...
2/ ...they concocted the most utterly absurd conspiracy theories to pin it on the left. They said Reeb's fellow clergymen, who were with him when he was struck by a club on the head, actually murdered him in the ambulance to the hospital to give the movement a white martyr...
3/ This theory was believed by virtually all of white Selma, and is still believed by folks there today...just as they also (at that time) believed blacks were bombing their own neighborhoods and the 16th St church in Birmingham just to gain sympathy...
