Ex-CIA software engineer Joshua Schulte, who was charged with theft & transmitting national defense info/Vault 7 CIA files to Wikileaks, asked for (& will receive) a separate trial for his child porn charges.

Just wait until you see how the FBI found most of the child porn...
Schulte supposedly knows tech, programming, etc, and even had systems administrator access to the files that were leaked.
While searching his desktop computer regarding the Vault 7 leaks, FBI found a photo that depicted child porn, so they got a separate search warrant to look for further evidence.
1) He apparently did Google searches for child porn.
That was evidence they gathered from Google through a warrant while they were investigating the CIA leaks. They stopped looking into it, though, and got another warrant specifically for the CP, before investigating the CP further.
Sorry for the delay...had to read thru the documents again...

Schulte partitioned his pc with an encrypted Linux Mint Virtual Machine (where the CP resided), and FBI investigators were able to access it by using Schulte's other known passwords, LOL.
So, for all the "hidden" and locked files on his computer, investigators were able to get into them because Schulte used the SAME passwords over and over again.
