Exclusive - Mainstream British school in Derby allowed propaganda and antisemitic material to be shared to schoolchildren - thread

Littleover Community School permitted their Amnesty group to run a petition that spread lies and propaganda to schoolchildren in what is a mainstream school. They then published it on their website as if it were something to be proud of.
In one image, the 'fact sheet' can be seen. It is clear the 'disappearing Palestine' maps was information shared to the schoolchidren. This is highly racist and antisemitic messaging that denies Jewish people any rights to a share of public land however long they have lived there
The Littleover Community School is in the constituency of @DerbyChrisW and clearly has a thing for Corbyn. He, along with Chris and others recently launched their 'free bus pass' scheme at this exact school.
I emailed the school to see if they provided any material to the school to offset the propaganda - signed by 500 British schoolkids - they did not even bother to respond. In this atmosphere they probably see objecting to antisemitic propaganda at school as 'Zionist interference'.

Importantly - this is not about a few extremists who joined the party in 2015 or 2016. Through its own actions and explicit messaging from key Corbyn allies - the party turned its own support base into an incubator for antisemites.
They explicitly pushed the claim that the allegations of antisemitism were a 'smear campaign' to protect Israel - demonising Jews and turning them into subversive elements within the UK.

The truth is @uklabour are playing a vile game. They've left it to a handul of volunteers to play 'find the antisemites' & in response the Labour Party smear them every step of the way and make sure they are abused for their endeavours.
It isn't difficult. When you really start looking it is like shooting fish in a barrel. If the Party were serious about fighting the virus Labour would have been ousting *thousands* if not *tens of thousands* themselves. Instead they wait for someone to push them into a corner.
The simple truth is this. I do not know a single person fighting antisemitism that has received any help, assistance, support or guidance from the party. Even long time Labour members who spot a racist in the party are immediately considered the enemy and ostracised.

The 'irresponsible' Palestinian leadership is as incapable of making peace as all those who came before them. They've built such a dependancy on their status as 'victims' - such an industry has been created around them - what would they be without it?
Almost everyone will benefit from peace. The Israelis, the Saudis, the Egyptians, the Jordanians. Only the Palestinians, who have most of the world's leaders on speed dial - look at peace with uncomfortable eyes

A student once asked me, in the middle of teaching Ancient Civilizations, “Why don’t we ever learn about Brooklyn?”

The notion bothered me all week. Why didn’t we? Student communities have so many rich learning opportunities that deserve to be explored outside of....
...a quick museum trip or a quick guest visit. We could have the same outcomes and use the same standards with Brooklyn-themed historical/current texts, experiences, and more. We wouldn’t have to roleplay, like my students pictured in my classroom above. ☝🏾
Instead of being confined to the classroom, we could learn without walls, on the steps of Jackie Robinson’s house, in the @Weeksville Heritage Center, in the archives of @BKLYNlibrary, & so much more.

Labour Against the Witchhunt wouldn't even report a Nazi.

LAW have welcomed former MP Jim Sheridan's reinstatement by the party. He was suspended last summer over an #antisemitic statement he posted on Facebook. But LAW don't accept he did anything wrong in the first place. /1
When Labour members err, there ought to be opportunity for them to learn from the experience and make amends. But comrade Sheridan's statement after his suspension was lifted suggested his only regret was getting caught and he appeared to blame those who complained about him. /2
Let's recall what got him into trouble: Sheridan declared he had lost respect and empathy for an entire ethnic group - "the Jewish community" - due to events in @UKLabour. The #Holocaust, pogroms and persecution no longer moved him because of "their Blairite plotters". /3

Asa Winstanley's piece about "fake Labour accounts" that push #antisemitism to discredit the party has been widely shared. I don't doubt that goes on and state actors are most likely involved, but Asa's article seems to be a big hit with people who actually do hold a/s views. /1
These people, many Labour members, seem oblivious to the irony of blaming anonymous trolls, presumably acting on behalf of Israel or the Tories, for spreading antisemitic poison that they themselves regularly promote. One such character is Charles Chiverton of Mansfield CLP. /2
Like his fellow Mansfield CLP comrades Jeff Bowler and Roland Laycock, whose antisemitism I highlighted yesterday, Charles Chiverton believes the concerns about antisemitism in the Labour Party are largely a smear campaign to undermine pro-Corbyn and pro-Palestinian activists. /3
