Latest Eurobarometer was published today, so let's have a look at some of the findings 🇪🇺
Starting with public trust in the EU, which is ticking slowly back up (though long way from 2007 height) and now 10 points (!) higher than trust in national institutions /1

Europeans are starting to believe that the future will be good again /3
Our politics may be more fractured but it's also probably a lot more inclusive as more people than ever feel their voice counts /4
Freedom and peace are still by a long way the things that people consider to be Europe's greatest achievements /5
Free movement is painted as an elite concern but more than half of EU citizens say they have benefitted from no/less border controls while travelling /6
Immigration still ranks as a top concern though its importance as crashed since 2015 while climate change has jumped up to second /7
The EU trade policy is popular but so is further integration on defence, immigration, foreign policy and energy /8
Look I don't know what else to tell you, all the eurozone states show large majorities in favour, the euro isn't going anywhere /9
Long story short, the anti-Europe doomongers haven't got a clue - people generally like the EU, think integration makes sense, value the peace and freedom brought by Europe and support the continued existence of the euro 🇪🇺 /end
