I still can’t get over how the only shooting survivor to meet with Trump in the El Paso hospital was a 2-month old baby whose parents were murdered at the hands of a white supremacist radicalized by Trump and his response was to give a fucking thumbs up in the photo.

Remember how Republicans have decided to make climate change denial a cornerstone of their agenda?

Anyway here's Brooklyn.
Here's a hailstorm from a couple weeks ago, in JULY, in Guadalajara, Mexico, which occurred despite temps at 88°F.

But climate change is a hoax.
Iceland just lost its first glacier. They had a plaque installed to commemorate humans' involvement. Researchers expect the rest of Iceland's glaciers to melt away in the next 200 years.

Totally normal, though.

I don't see how we can support a Democrat in 2020 whose platform is predicated on bipartisanship. I'm tired of being on the only side playing by the rules.

In Democrats' IDEAL universe, everything is just FAIR. In Republicans' ideal universe, everything is tilted in their favor.
We're not playing the same game. Bipartisanship is a fool's errand, because while it plays well to some subset of the population who, "golly!" remembers a time where decency prevailed, we don't live in that time anymore.

Mitch McConnell has proven that each and every day.
In 2020, we don't need compromise and we don't need bipartisanship-- because those things simply aren't going to happen. How many more clues do we need before we finally realize that?

We need a fighter. We need to win. Because the *only* other option is to lose.

A whole lot of smug coming from a guy who seems to be getting taught the basics of his job in front of the entire nation.
For fuck's sake, aren't Republicans embarrassed? What a disgrace that these are the idiots they put forward to run our government.

That a single cent of my tax dollars pays his salary is a travesty.

This was the *explicit* goal of the El Paso attack.
The shooter *explicitly* said in his manifesto he was using violence as a tool to exert pressure to keep Hispanics out of Texas specifically and America more generally.
I’ve said this before, but the El Paso shooter is a Trumpist paramilitary and his basic logic of violence as a deterrent to immigration is the guiding principle of the Trump administration’s concentration camp system.
