Tragically Omar was badly let down when clinics in the camp said they couldn't do anything to help him. This seems to be typical of treatment for the #Rohingya for anything out of the ordinary that would require specialist treatment. #HelpOmarFaisal

This is Omar Faisal with his dad who has never stopped fighting for him. For 6 years they tried to get him treatment for a condition that could have been easily treated as a baby. If left untreated he will go blind. #HelpOmarFaisal

We tried to fundraise privately and get Omar Faisal treated without any fuss, but when he caught pneumonia and the operation scheduled had to be cancelled we realised we would have to take his story public to raise more funds. But also his is a story that deserves to be told...

Update 19th Feb: Ahmad is attending the IMO hospital in Barcelona for his first appointment today. So far we have only raised half the funds he is likely to need to cover his medical fees. We are hoping more donations come in soon.
Update 19th Feb: Ahmad is now at the clinic for tests. He thanks everyone for your help,says leaving Yemen was difficult,getting to Jordan was difficult,getting to Egypt was difficult,Alhamdulillah he is now in Barcelona,but he could not have got here without all your support.

Having looked into what might have happened, I've found this blog post from YouTube published today. youtube.googleblog.com/2019/06/our-on… Reading this, though, I struggle to see how any of the videos on my channel fit their criteria for an outright ban.
As so many people are asking, this is the banned channel. It featured around 120 historical clips I collated for teachers and students, covering various aspects of world history over the past 1000 years. The Nazi material made up around 10% of all videos. youtube.com/channel/UCJcHM…

Some background: As many of you know, I got started working on terrorism and related fields by doing OSINT from FOIA documents and court records. Over the years. I have acquired thousands of documents, even as my list of to-do projects has been growing like kudzu.
Many of these documents have been published on INTELWIRE.com over the year, but as I got busier and busier, maintaining the website's document archive in a usable format has become more work than I can handle.
