Ahmad Algohbary has brought us all hope by saving some of #Yemen's severely malnourished children. Now he has a struggle of his own: he is fighting to save his eyesight. Let's show him now how much we care and help him get through this difficult time.

Update 19th Feb: Ahmad is attending the IMO hospital in Barcelona for his first appointment today. So far we have only raised half the funds he is likely to need to cover his medical fees. We are hoping more donations come in soon.

Update 19th Feb: Ahmad is now at the clinic for tests. He thanks everyone for your help,says leaving Yemen was difficult,getting to Jordan was difficult,getting to Egypt was difficult,Alhamdulillah he is now in Barcelona,but he could not have got here without all your support.

Update 19th Feb: Ahmad has had his eyes examined and has been told he needs cornea transplants. This will cost more than double what was anticipated. His family are doing all they can to raise the extra funds but all help is appreciated, thankyou!

Update 20th Feb: These are the costs of the surgery (posted with Ahmad's permission). 7000 euros per eye. When we have raised enough for one eye we will book first surgery. Every day delay is more spent on hotel. Many thanks for all your help. #Yemen Totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/ahmad

Update 20th Feb: People are donating, thank you all so much! now at £3297 (3800 euros). We need to raise another £2800 (3200 euros) to pay for operation on the first eye. This is a very difficult time for Ahmad, all he can do is wait and pray. Please share and donate if you can.
