Here are 28 times that President Trump apparently watched an author get interviewed on Fox and then promote their book on Twitter. The 23 books are almost all hagiographies of Trump or screeds attacking his foes. mediamatters.org/donald-trump/2…
I only found one case of Trump recommending a work of (intentional) fiction. In December a Fox chyron noted that retired Gen. Anthony Tata, interviewed to discuss Mattis' resignation, was the author of "Dark Winter." Trump then promoted that book while quoting Tata's appearance.
Dark Winter is the fifth book in Tata's "Jake Mahegan" series of thriller novels. The plot deals with the U.S. and its allies fighting a world war against North Korea, Russia, and Iran.
