Seeing the success of The Epoch Times as America’s fastest-growing newspaper, NBC News has published a hit-piece that is riddled with inaccuracies, blatant errors, and misrepresentations.

For example, NBC News mischaracterizes our subscription campaigns for our print newspaper. We provided NBC News with a statement back in June to clarify this, but they chose to ignore it—against well established journalistic practices.

... NBC News is refusing to look at verifiable evidence and simply dismisses this reporting as a “conspiracy theory.”

This comes from an outlet that misled the American public for more than two years with false claims that President Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election.

Further, in an attempt to discredit The Epoch Times, NBC News resorts to repeating propaganda produced by China’s ruling communist regime.

This comes as NBC’s parent company, NBCUniversal, continues to work with a consortium of Chinese state-owned companies on a multibillion-dollar project in Beijing.

It is sad to see a once respectable news organization engaging in such behavior.

The reality is that NBC News is inadvertently lending legitimacy to China’s ruling regime at a time when it is cracking down on its own citizens in Hong Kong.

The NBC News report also adds fuel to the CCP’s ongoing horrific 20-year-long persecution of tens of millions of Chinese citizens for their practice of Falun Gong—an ancient Chinese meditation practice based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance.

Just two months ago, in June, an independent people’s tribunal in the UK headed by Sir Geoffrey Nice QC ... unanimously concluded that Chinese authorities have been killing Falun Gong practitioners for their organs “on a significant scale.”
