After the promise of doing better, they announce this new T-shirt design, based off of the fact that at colossalcon east 2018, the kalahari removed cosplayers from the water parks because they thought the convention ended at a certain time but didn’t.
“What’s wrong with the shirt?” I’m glad you asked cause! A lot is wrong with it! 1. This was most likely an issue in which colossal didn’t inform the park staff properly the timing of sunday, 2. Gatekeeping a public place, where all the guests are PAID attendees is super shitty

I know colossalcon east is soon, and yes I will be attending (the water park not the convention they ain’t gettin a cent from me lmao) I’m not expecting you to not show up this late of notice when you put a bunch of money into hotel/travel, but 2020 ? Fuck colossalcon !
Don’t attend there events next year, cancel your hotels now if you already booked, fuck these people. This is disgusting. They’ve shown PUBLICLY how they think of you, don’t give them your money or time #boycottcolossalcon2020
Spread the word, I know the cosplay community is tight knit, everybody knows everybody some way or another. If someone brings up colossal 2020 show em this thread, let em know it’s trash. This is completely unacceptable.

Donnell has stepped down, atleast from colossal, however this still isn’t over
Ive been hearing about staff members being harrassed, thats NOT what we’re going to be doing. You’re no better than the people in the screenshots above if you do this. Your issue is not with staff or guests, remember that. If you’re one of the staff dealing with this I’m so sorry
It’s been confirmed that someone has called ICE on Donnell, that behavior is UNACCEPTABLE. Whoever did that is no better than the people called out in this thread. This is completely disgusting behavior and we need to do better. Innocent people are being affected by this action
I’m absolutely livid at this behavior. We want them removed from the convention not ruin them and their families lives. It’s also affecting other staff members who are now worried about their well being. This is not what we are setting out to do
