Twitter seems to be broken. I can see replies to my tweets, but I can't see them in context i.e. clicking on them doesn't bring up the original tweet/thread. Anyone else seeing this?
Seems to be happening all over the world if you search for "Twitter broken". So while it would be very easy to make a joke about Boris Johnson's pet cybergoons bringing it down to thwart the protesters, that doesn't appear to be the case.
Normal service seems to be back. If this counts as normal.

Could Sophy Ridge's sub be any more biased? Every question is phrased to benefit Leave views. He keeps talking about no deal as if it's something we should be actively seeking. Better to take the programme off air for a week than replace it with a propaganda puff piece. #Ridge
He also said "If we accept all that to be true, then..." after listening to a long stream of lies. Objectively out of the window.
"At what point does the Prime Minister turn around and say we've got to have an election?"

No acknowledgement of the fact that it's not in Boris Johnson's power to call an election. He can only call a vote on one. 2/3 of all MPs have to agree.

Sunday musing... Boris Johnson is a Prime Minister without any Parliamentary power. Everything he is doing is via loopholes because he doesn't command a majority. So imagine this (not a realistic scenario at all, just amusing myself):
1. Parliament passes a binding law forcing him to extend Article 50 for a long time (1-2 years)
2. The EU agrees
3. Brexit is moved off
4. Boris Johnson prorogues Parliament for a sensibly short period to start a new session
5. Tries to pass a Queen's Speech. Fails.
6. Calls a General Election. Doesn't get 2/3 majority of MPs. Fails.
7. Tries a VONC as a backdoor route to a GE. MPs VOC Boris Johnson right back in.
8. At this point, Boris Johnson is totally stuck. He can't go ahead with Brexit. He can't do anything new (no Queen's Speech).

BBC News headline (2pm): "Crowds of demonstrators have gathered in locations across the UK to protest against the Prime Minister's decision to suspend Parliament. Organisers hope tens of thousands will take to the streets in dozens of towns and cities." #DefendOurDemocracy
That was word for word the key summary. Not "tens of thousands *have* gathered", but "organisers *hope* tens of thousands". Why report facts when you can report hopes. They're so much weaker. Unbelievable how quickly the BBC is becoming a mouthpiece of the Tory junta...
Then in the video package that followed: "More than 30 protests are planned across the UK. Organisers say they're expecting tens of thousands of people." All that against a background of massive crowds who were *already* protesting.

Twitter seems to be banning or suspending accounts belonging to critics of the Chinese government. It started yesterday May 31th. Here is one report - I noticed a sudden loss of followers yesterday, I checked, it was mainly China critics. Twitter❤️🇨🇳 Amazing! @mouse @1GigiSims
This is happening as an effort to silence #China critics ahead of the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, which is next Tuesday. Twitter is helping China do its dirty work to silence the legitimate opposition. Twitter has hit a new all time low! 👎👎👎
One other possibility that can't be discounted is that the #Chinese government is hacking into Twitter and is deleting the accounts of Chinese critics. I did hear reports in the past, that Chinese hackers were able to get into Twitter & do that.

En tout, on peut relever 20 tweets interpellant Cécile Duflot construits sur le même modèle. Un vrai pattern en somme du type :

Au niveau des sources d'émission, tous les tweets proviennent de "Twitter Web Client", donc on aurait affaire à de vrais gens qui publient ces tweets. Rien de scripté via l'API ou de programmé avec des services type IFTTT.

Premier indice ▶️ cela ressemble à une ferme de trolls.
