That was word for word the key summary. Not "tens of thousands *have* gathered", but "organisers *hope* tens of thousands". Why report facts when you can report hopes. They're so much weaker. Unbelievable how quickly the BBC is becoming a mouthpiece of the Tory junta...
Then in the video package that followed: "More than 30 protests are planned across the UK. Organisers say they're expecting tens of thousands of people." All that against a background of massive crowds who were *already* protesting.
