What I saw at Ogombo after Abraham Adesanya was sobering.
It's not surprising that the Lekki component of the riots came from those areas..
The Nigerian Middle-class has to sit up.
Bottom line is the Middle-class has to unite to lead the masses and negotiate effectively with the elite to make things work instead of trying to suck up to the elite.
It is the only way to protect the Middle-class.
If you don't, when Poverty dehumanises them, You will be the ones they can and will attack.
That's how these things work.
As they rise, You rise.
As they get wealthier, you find it easier to open businesses to sell to them.
So you have to stand for them to preserve your own class.. Even if it means taking on the Elite on their behalf.
Forget all this Canada talk. Most of what qualifies as middle-class here will not be able to get out to the West..
