Ajah Sangotedo and Jakande are the parts of Lekki with a lot of really poor people.
What I saw at Ogombo after Abraham Adesanya was sobering.

It's not surprising that the Lekki component of the riots came from those areas..

The Nigerian Middle-class has to sit up.
Ideally I should restructure this to better fit the moment but I'm stressed right now.

Bottom line is the Middle-class has to unite to lead the masses and negotiate effectively with the elite to make things work instead of trying to suck up to the elite.
The Middle-Class has to actively unite to take responsibility for the lower-classes..

It is the only way to protect the Middle-class.

If you don't, when Poverty dehumanises them, You will be the ones they can and will attack.

That's how these things work.
The key to the survival and prosperity of the middle-class is in the middle-class taking responsibility for the socioeconomic success of the lower class.

As they rise, You rise.

As they get wealthier, you find it easier to open businesses to sell to them.
As they get better education, healthcare and employment, they are much less likely to become dangerous criminals that target you.

So you have to stand for them to preserve your own class.. Even if it means taking on the Elite on their behalf.
The middle-class has to understand this. Your socioeconomic class means that most of you will be unable to migrate.

Forget all this Canada talk. Most of what qualifies as middle-class here will not be able to get out to the West..
