So now this gets worse. Let me explain what happens when you go over to "verify" your claim:
First you put in your claim number (from the email), then you go through an exceedingly long Captcha string, which the FTC probably hopes you'll give up on.
(This is a textbook dark pattern to behaviorally nudge you away from whatever the website doesn't want you to do)

THEN, they added a brand-new requirement that never existed before: you have to name a credit monitoring service that you will have for the next six months. 
So you can't get the $125 without either 1) signing up for credit monitoring (which is useless, what actually works is a credit freeze) or 2) lying about having credit monitoring, which they make it sound like has some penalty attached ("you must certify")
Or you can just type "NONE" as I and others have, and you finally get to the end screen, where you must "affirm under the laws of the United States" that you told the truth.
Whether or not the claim will be denied because I have no credit monitoring (because it's worthless) remains to be seen.
