That said, we should repudiate the suggestion anyway. Cannibalism is actually the least environmentally sustainable way to feed the human population; it only "makes sense" from a depopulation point of view; i.e., eugenics.
Like, don't entertain the Fox News/New York Post "Scientists Want To Eat Your Baby" yellow journalism that just will inevitably feed into both the anti-science backlash and PizzaGate/Q cult nonsense, but also don't entertain men-tellectual thought experimetns about eugenics.
