Highlights from the Operation Yellowhammer document released yesterday (which appears to be a summary rather than the actual OY planning) - you can read the 5 page PDF original at the link below.

Government moans that the EU isn't treating us nicely. "The relationship between the UK and the EU as a whole is unsympathetic" and points out we're not getting decent bilateral engagement. (That's because the EU negotiates as a block, idiots). Almost no bilateral mitigations.
The public and businesses not only aren't ready, but they are become less and less ready because Brexit fatigue has set in (indeed - I feel it every night) and because nobody knows what Brexit will look like.
Bigger businesses will be more ready than smaller ones (Really? Do you want to tell us about the toilet habits of bears next?) And private firms will be "governed by commercial considerations" i.e. Brexit doesn't break capitalism.
"HMG will act lawfully and in accordance with the rule of law" - well, they did claim it was an outdated document, and that things have changed.

Brexit Day coincides with the end of the half-term holidays, so extra sphincter clenching there.
UK Government confesses it will hurt us much more than the EU: "In a small number of instances where the impacts of Brexit would be felt negatively in the EU as well as the UK, Member States may act in way which could also benefit the UK (e.g. energy for Ireland)."
50-85% of HGVs travelling via the short Channel Straits may not be ready for French customs. Not enough room to hold them all in France (even though Calais built a giant new lorry park) so goods flow will fall to 40-60% within a day. That lasts 3 months, then improves to 50%-70%.
Queues of 1.5-2.5 days for hauliers to cross the border. Giant queues in Kent that will be visible from the Moon.

Extra immigration checks on UK passengers = delays at St Pancras, Channel Tunnel & Dover. "Travellers may decide to use alernative routes to complete their journey."
We will have enough electricity (yay!) but "there will likely be significant electricity price increases for consumers (business and domestic" (less yay!) "Some participants could exit the market." (code for bankruptcies and redundancies)
3/4 of medicines come in via the short straits. Some cannot be stockpiled. "DHSC is developing a multi-layered approach to mitigate these risks." (previous info has shown that pharmacies will be instructed to prescribe alternatives or lower doses, amongst other things)
Have you seen the films "Outbreak" or "Contagion"?

OY says that there's the risk of disease outbreaks in animals including "zoonotic diseases which can directly impact human health". Industry cannot rebuild stockpiles to March 2019 levels, and air freight doesn't offer capacity.
Some fresh food and ingredient supplies "will decrease". Note that they didn't use "may" or "might".

No overall shortages but you may not be able to eat what *you* want.

"Government will not be able to fully anticipate all potential impacts to the agri-food supply chain" Oops!
Low chance of a "failure in the chemical supply chain" that ensures we get clean water. If it does fail, it will only affect "up to 100,000's of people".

Also points out that if there isn't any clean water, urgent action will be needed. Understatement of the century.
"Some cross-border UK financial services will be disrupted" - that is the entirety of the bullet that covers our multi trillion pound financial sector.

(Already, firms have moved more than £1 trillion of assets to the EU. We can expect that to accelerate, and jobs to go too.)
Flows of personal data to the EU will be disrupted. "An adequacy assessment could take years" (that's the arrangement needed to restore data sharing).

We'll be less safe: "Law enforcement data and information sharing between UK and EU will be disrupted".
UK nationals will lose EU citizenship (That's a thing, if you didn't know. We *all* have EU citizenship by virtue of being in the EU. We'll all lose it on Brexit Day.) This will disrupt their situation if they're living elsewhere in the EU.
EU will not extend favourable healthcare arrangements, so after Brexit UK citizens will have to pay same as non-EU citizens would.

Private insurance or social insurance may be required for those living in the EU.

Emergencies should be treated, but may be billed after the fact.
Gibraltar is in big, big trouble: "disruption to supply of goods (including food), medicines, trans-frontier shipment of waste, and delays of 4+ hours for at least a few months [at the border]"
If we can stir ourselves from the lethargy induced by adequate food, we're going to be on the streets throwing stuff. "Protests and counter-protests will take place across the UK and may absorb significant amounts of police resource."
Possible fuel shortages in London and the SE.

Then there's a redacted bit, which hides the likely closure of 2 oil refineries, which will trigger strikes and more fuel shortages.

Fuel shortages are like buses. Wait for one for ages, then they all come along at once.
The poor and most vulnerable will get the biggest Brexit spanking. How very Tory! "Low income groups will be disproportionately affected by any price rises in food and fuel."
We won't check stuff at the border. However that was a promise made with fingers crossed because "the model is likely to prove unsustainable due to significant economic, legal and biosecurity risks". Who knew? (Answer: anyone who'd been paying attention.)
"Disruption to key sectors and job losses are likely to lead to protests and direct action with road blockages" More traffic jams. And bonus chaos to add to all the chaos.
Fishing industry: big, big losers. A long paragraph of grim news specifies in great detail the hurt heading their way.
Finally, adult social care will be hurt because the lovely EU carers won't be around any more (since we spent 3 years telling them how much they weren't wanted, then changed immigration rules to ram the message home).

That's Operation Yellowhammer, folks!
