Talking about the demographic changes since the 2016 referendum is like probing a broken tooth with your tongue: painful and discomforting.

But as adults we should be able to have a sensible conversation without knee-jerk reactions, surely?
Tip top most important thing: nobody wants or wishes *anyone* dead. Talking about death is not in any way shape or form the same as willing people to die.

Discussing demographics is just that: looking at statistics and drawing logical conclusions dispassionately.
Since 2016, over 1.5 million people have died. Analyses of referendum voting patterns indicate that this group overwhelmingly skewed Leave.

Since 2016, over 2 million people turned 18. Analyses of referendum voting patterns indicate that this group overwhelmingly skews Remain.
Taking those two pieces of data together, and without any comment whatsoever about whether they are good, bad or indifferent, it is possible to say with a high degree of certainty that demographic changes have turned the electorate more Remain than it was in 2016.
After all, in 2016:
- 73% of 18-24 year olds voted Remain.
- 60% of 65+ year olds voted Leave.
