NEW: Manhattan D.A. Vance files memo opposing Trump's bid to quash his subpoenas, and the section of an accompanying declaration describing the grand jury investigation is entirely redacted. cc: @CourthouseNews

@CourthouseNews In the memo, Vance's assistants slam the notion that the "President enjoys not only a blanket immunity fro criminal prosecution," but also "routine, lawful grand jury request for information" extending to "any person or entity who happened to be associated" with him, and so on.
@CourthouseNews The memo mocks attempts to "invent" a "new presidential 'tax return privilege.'"

Citing fact that every U.S. president since Jimmy Carter voluntarily disclosed them, the Assistant DAs write: "Again, there is no 'immunity from scrutiny' of this sort in the law."

NEW: The court has released several new filings in Trump's lawsuit against Manhattan D.A. Vance, including the proposed injunction and Vance's subpoenas.

@CourthouseNews According to these files, Team Trump wanted a temporary restraining order by noon today, i.e. a little more than 90 minutes ago, to stave off a subpoena requiring info from Mazars by 2 p.m., about 25 minutes from now.

Trying to figure out what's happening in the interim.
@CourthouseNews With one of those deadlines in the rear-view mirror, and the other five minutes ahead, there's no new info on this.

Manhattan D.A.'s spokesman has no substantial statement. Trump's attorneys haven't replied to email requests for comment, and the court referred to the docket.

Balber once represented Trump himself in a breach of contract lawsuit against Maher. The comedian had promised he’d give $5 million to a charity if the real estate mogul could prove he actually wasn’t the result of his mother having sex with an orangutan.
This legal battle ended when Trump withdrew the complaint.

Balber now also represents Emin and Aras Agalarov, two of President Donald Trump‘s friends and business partners, both Russian

The lawsuit filed by Seth Rich's family says Fox News used "false and fabricated facts" to develop a "sham story," and then provided a national platform to fuel the conspiracy theory alleging that Rich was murdered in connection with the hack of the DNC by WikiLeaks.
Reminder: This is not the 1st lawsuit filed against Fox News for their role in the Seth Rich conspiracy theory. Last yr, a Fox commentator sued the network, saying they created the false story *with full knowledge & help from the White House.*

Sean Spicer admitted he met w/ Ed Butowsky, a wealthy Trump supporter who worked w/ Fox News to create the fake Seth Rich story. Butowsky reportedly went to the WH to brief Spicer on the story before it aired. He said he briefed Trump, too.

He's now being sued by Seth's parents.

CIG knows that they're going to lose the battle to delay or get around discovery. So they're getting ahead of themselves, knowing that if Crytek files a complaint with the judge, they would be even more compelled to comply.
From the previous filing, we already knew they were already in a battle over this, and sources tell me that it has been heating up since then. Which explains this filing.
