Audience member Larry says his wife has bipolar disorder; drugs cost $4,000 a month in U.S. in Canada, drugs were $90 for three months. "Why in America can we not treat people with respect, and not rob them blind?" Larry asks.
Bernie calls opioid manufacturers who are in settlement talks with states "drug pushers." Audience member says "lock them up." Bernie: "No, they're rich and powerful. Clearly don't understand the criminal justice system."

Bernie and his wife Jane spoke with John afterward, telling him that congressional reps can help him with the problems with military health care. Other audience members tried to encourage him and offer help. He told me he feels better after rally because people want to help
